On September 28, the 2025 China-Africa Internet Development and Cooperation Forum was held in Xiamen, Fujian Province. Focusing on priority areas of China-Africa digital cooperation, the forum brought together competent government departments, industry organizations, enterprise representatives, and research institutions to discuss new pathways for digital technology-enabled development cooperation.

At the forum, China proposed the Action Plan for Jointly Building a China-Africa Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace (2025-2026), calling for practical cooperation in digital infrastructure connectivity, digital industry collaboration, cybersecurity capacity building, and innovative applications of artificial intelligence.

Participants noted that China and Africa have broad cooperation opportunities in the digital economy, mobile payments, smart agriculture, cross-border e-commerce, and digital talent development. Through institutionalized exchanges, joint demonstration projects, and capacity building, both sides will further promote the implementation of digital cooperation outcomes.

During the forum, the China-Africa Internet Enterprise Cooperation Network was also launched. The network is designed to bring together enterprises, institutions, and platform resources, promote supply-demand matching, technical exchanges, and experience sharing, and support the subsequent project development of the China-Africa Digital Technology Cooperation Center.
